Shitasu for Sleep Workshop

In this workshop, Adrian Cox will be covering an introduction to Zen Shiatsu and its roots. The seven emotions and how they play a part in our health and insomnia from an Eastern perspective.

During the workshop, you will learn how to find acupressure points on your own body that may be useful in aiding sleep. You will also go through a Qi Gong healing sound routine.

The practice of meditation and mindfulness is good for you. When you wish to become healthier and have a sense of curiosity, then you are ready to practice mindfulness.

During this course, each session will have guided meditation practices. Every week you will discuss mindful approaches to different areas of your lives. This will include natural daily stressors, taking care of yourselves, role of stress and time pressure, anxiety and depression, working with physical pain and making positive changes to your lives.

There will be time for reflection on your own and within small groups, as you develop your practice.
